Hello Power
Thanks for uploading "I Want You" to GarageBand.com. Congratulations are in order! Your song did a bang up job in Round 1 of the Active Contest, and held its own against some stiff competition. It's been reviewed by folks all over the world, been subjected to raw, unfiltered scrutiny from people you don't even know...and guess what?.... They liked it! The blood, sweat and tears have paid off.
Your song made it to the upper echelon of its genre, and will now move on to the next level to battle it out with its peers in Round 3. Songs in Round 3 will move through an entirely new review cycle, to be reviewed and ranked against the other top songs in their genre. We'll measure your new ranking based on a combination of this new data and the old data. When the dust settles, those left standing at the top of the charts will get a shot at moving on to Round 4 and be one step closer to getting played on Yahoo! Launch radio.
In addition to moving up on our active charts, "I Want You" will still remain available in our All-time charts and you can continue to monitor its status on your Song Profile page.
Thanks for your support.
Rock on,
Ivy,

"This is the group that had an eponymous album on Malaco back in 1982. Now they return with no change in the line-up and under their own steam for this offering which includes support from real musicians in among the programming."
Power / Powerized (Powerized)
...soulful lead singers with tight harmonies, good melodies & groovy vibes! MUST BUY if you like this genre
In Japan, we realized that people love "Soul music" as much as in Europe . Japanese people in their own unique way enjoy dancing , listening to music and collecting stuff .However ,it is impossible for one person to discover all the music in the world . In the US there still exist many recordings that although excellent , have never been released or distributed . Like an uncut diamond , these are hidden treasures , That is the reason why we established SOUL TREASURES
Check Out Our "Power" Page
....Just stopping by to send some love to the group with some of the best vocals I've heard in a long time. Word On The Street looks forward to featuring you guys in our March issues.
Peace & Blessings,

RadioIndy Review of your Powerized CD
"Powerized" is a CD that is filled with the warmth and groove of your favorite R&B and Motown artists. The songs include lush male harmonies and rich instrumentation. Our favorite tracks range from "Let Me Be Your Man," which has a driving groove and a memorable spoken vocal section, to "I want You" and "It Started All Over Again," which have a more pop feel and include tasteful sax fills. If you enjoy a classic Motown sound or R&B favorites such as Earth, Wind & Fire, you'll enjoy this CD...
earBuzz Review: Power's album, "Powerized", starts with their self-titled song "Power". The tune grabs the ear immediately as the band blends the R&B groove style made famous by Minneapolis artists with the vocals that have their origin a bit east in Philadelphia and Detroit. We hear influences that range from the Spinners to the Temptations with a solid push by Prince and the Time. Infectious. Track 3, "Listen to Your Heart", is a lesson in falsetto and full voice harmony blending - and the chorus hook climbs beautifully. Track 4, "Let Me Be Your Man", is the only rap tune on the record. The poetry spins by at record speed with a reggae background. Track 10, "I Want You", is our favorite on the record. The chorus has room to breathe with moving and harmonizing voices. The slow groover satisfies.
Note: This press release was written when POWER was with MALACO RECORDS. However POWER's show is still as exciting today. After many years of the original groups' disbandment, we thought it would be fun to share it with you our fans, especially those of you who were there. Today, Power has reunited and poised to make new headlines. Here is that press release...a blast from the past.
Venue: Riverview Supper Club
Date: January 28
Performance: Excellent
PICTURE THIS: a tight band in a funk groove, cookin' through songs like "What's Goin On" and other R & B classics with a flare and a feeling. The drums churnin', the bass popin', the guitars choppin', and the vocals are in fine harmony. Even the width of the vibrato is in sync. It's The Storm, quietly proceeding to funk your ears off.
And as if this isn't enough, on walks a four piece horn section, which brings this already boiling band to a hotter temperature, sharp accents and tremendous four-part lines blend in and out of harmony with smooth ease.
In the midst of this hot jam, out strut five gentlemen (now 4) in black velvet whose combined vocal ranges reach across a generation of R & B soul and funk. This burns down the house. Such was the scene at The Riverview last Thursday night.
Thursday's show intensfied with each sub-group addition, and came to a peak when Power came out, spinning, twirling and singing in beautifully choreographed synchrony. The musical chairs of the choreography only added to the flow of the music. In addition to excellent renditions of "All Right" "Love You All Over" "Turn your Love Around" Power sang "Play It Again Sam" Their newly released 12-inch single. This a fast moving medley of Motown hits that highlights each vocalist forte, every nostalgic snipper matches the sound of the original song, very well. "My Girl", "Cloud Nine", "Love Train", Your My Everything" rush by in a great tribute to the great sound....Power has a good thing going. Search them out.
